Over the past decade, the kidney transplant waiting list at the Temple University Hospital Transplant Center has doubled, rising from 200 patients in 2014 to 400 in 2024. During this time, the center has averaged approximately 30 cadaveric kidney transplants annually. In 2024, only 10% of waitlisted patients received a cadaveric transplant.
