Over the past decade, NYU Langone Health has maintained a kidney transplant waiting list ranging from approximately 300 to 600 patients. Since 2020, the center has experienced a substantial increase in both the volume of cadaveric kidney transplants and the number of patients on the waiting list. In 2022, NYU Langone performed 335 kidney transplants, the highest volume in New York State, and achieved top national rankings for one-year graft survival and time-to-transplantation.
