From 2014 to 2021, The Ohio State University Medical Center maintained a stable waiting list of approximately 600 patients. However, by 2025, the number of patients on the waiting list had risen to nearly 800. Although the center performs an average of 200 cadaveric transplants annually, this volume has not been sufficient to meet the growing demand.

I am so very thankful for the kidney i received at OSU. OSU is a large facility performing many transplants. They have a whole in- patient floor dedicated to abdominal transplants. Being a large facility though, you're going to be seen by MANY people each with their own small responsibility in the process. Individually, everyone was friendly, professional and morale was good. I'd would go here again.
