Scott and White Memorial Hospital has experienced a significant increase in its transplant waiting list, with the number of patients more than tripling from 100 in 2014 to over 300 by early 2025. Concurrently, the center has seen a sharp decline in cadaveric transplant volume, dropping from over 100 transplants in 2021 and 2022 to just 50 in both 2023 and 2024.
