Nebraska Medical Center has maintained a stable waiting list of approximately 200 patients over the past decade. However, by 2025, the number of patients on the waiting list had increased to over 300. Despite performing 120 cadaveric transplants annually, this volume has not been sufficient to meet the growing demand.
