UAMS has been wonderful to me. I was listed 7 years, but did get my transplant 3 years ago. They still follow me, I get monthly labs, always respond to my messages in MyChart and I feel very secure in their care.
My son recently received a kidney transplant at UAMS and the Doctors, Staff, Nurses and everyone involved made his procedure and stay comfortable and a upbeat attitude make for a pleasant experience.. Top Ratings!!!!
With cadaveric transplant volume matching the demand in the last 5 years, most patients were transplanted within a year at University of Arkansas Transplant Center. In 2025, the center became more well-known and number of patients on the waiting list doubled.
