Over the past decade, Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center has maintained a stable kidney transplant waiting list of approximately 300 patients. In the last five years, the center has increased its annual cadaveric kidney transplants to nearly 100. However, the waiting list continues to exceed the number of deceased donor kidneys provided to the center by designated Organ Procurement Organizations.
