Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has more than doubled its kidney transplant volume over the past five years. However, the number of deceased donor kidneys allocated to the center by designated Organ Procurement Organizations continues to fall short of demand. As a result, the waiting list has remained steady at approximately 1,200 patients for the past decade, increasing to 1,300 in 2024.
