From 2018 to 2021, cadaveric transplant volume at Banner–University Medical Center in Arizona closely aligned with patient demand, enabling most patients to receive a transplant within 18 months. However, in recent years, increased visibility of the center has contributed to a rise in the waiting list, which approached 250 patients in 2025, while the number of available donor kidneys remained below 100.

They required a heart stent (my cardiologist would have treated with medication, as the blockage was minor) which required Plavix, which knocked me off other lists. And then did not accept me to their list.
Was on waitlist for kidney for 3 years until surgeon decided all diabetics (even borderline) with even normal cardiac stress testing need to have left heart catheterization - unreasonable and against national standards. Was thrown off the waitlist when I refused. Will not recommend.
